Since Oct 31 I have been unable to play Candy Crush Saga on IPad mini (IOS 9.3.5).

I have tried all the suggested remedies provided on this site. The game will not load directly or through Facebook (it kicks you out of Facebook when attempting to play it from there). I can play through other devices (my husband's IPad mini 3, which runs IOS 10.1.1, or my laptop running Windows).  Is it possible that my vintage IPad mini is the problem, and that the game will no longer run properly on it?

    I think you're right Kathy. If you read the thread that the moderators posted recently you will see the list of recommended devices and the oldest supported iPad is the Mini 2. You can check the thread here:

    This means that your game is not guaranteed to run smoothly anymore.

    If it is permitted (which I assume it must be) I can share the ipa file for version 1.80.1 (up to level 1970) which will work on your iPad 2. Maybe someone from King can confirm that there's no personal information contained in the file. The procedure is simple, you delete the app from your iPad and from iTunes on your computer. You then copy the ipa file to the appropriate iTunes folder on your computer then you sync your iPad to the computer and copy the file to the iPad. I BELIEVE that should work. Since it's a free app, I don't think the file is tied to a specific device.
