I recently purchased a bundle which was to include a mystery gift box, but like several others, have not received anything resembling a mystery gift box, just a mystery.
Why does King not openly answer this question rather than inboxing users who have asked this question previously?
Where's the item and why is the answer such a closely guarded secret?

We are openly answering the posts in question first in order to notify the players we've sent them a message. When it comes to purchases we always send a private message (as you will see in the message I've sent you) is because we generally need the purchase receipt or confidential details which should not be shared publicly.
