I reinstalled Candy Crush Saga because it wouldn't let me make in app purchases. It worked and it saved my progress through Facebook, but it made all of my saved lives from friends disappear. I had approximately 120 saved and now it is 0. I talked to Amazon and they gave me a link and said you would restore them.

Reinstalling would do that, messages and boosters are only locally stored. You can get purchases restored but not messages containing lives as those are sent for free.
