I have used all sorts of boosters but still no luck the liquorice keeps popping up left right and centre and it doesn't give me chance to clear it?

In the last two days the ads have stopped working. If you get a chance to view ads for extra moves the first ad works but when you select to watch the second ad it goes to run it but then the screen goes black and it then returns you to the game. This makes it very difficult and frustrating.
