can no longer connect to facebook in soda or candy crush (2 different red x error messages)
i was previously connected/synced to facebook just fine for both games but for the past couple or more weeks i have not been able to connect to facebook from either mobile soda or candy crush -- for soda i get the red x and connection failure message "failed to connect to facebook," and for candy crush i get the connection failure message "sorry, you don't have access to the kingdom right now, please try connecting again later." in both games i have no option to re-enter my login info or anything like that.
an old answer to this question suggested logging in to facebook on pc and choosing to play on mobile from there, but when i try the "send to mobile" option (for soda, cc, and for jelly -- even though jelly is the one game that appears to be syncing okay still) the box is grayed out and says "no compatible mobile devices" (huh? i've got a galaxy s6 with all three games on it, what the heck?)
what can i do? i do not even want to play either game because what's the point if i can't save my progress? these error messages both in facebook and on mobile are really alarming. what now? all games are up to date and i'm scared to mess around with anything else in my phone for fear of losing my progress entirely like many people have reported.

okay, i updated facebook on my phone (i never ever use it and in fact had it disabled, only created the account to save cc progress and had forgotten it was even installed) and that did the trick. i never needed it in order to connect/sync before but i guess something has changed and the app needs to be active in addition to being on pc (now the "send to mobile" boxes aren't grayed out there anymore either). annoyed but relieved this worked and my progress in all 3 games appears to be intact.
