Candy Crush Crashes

Hello, I was enjoying playing Candy Crush up until recently and ive reached level 612. Now i find i can no longer load the game as it keeps crashing. Ive browsed through the questions and answers on your website and it turns out, its because my Ipad is second generation and can longer support the game after youve done updates. I like many others are extremeley disappointed to have come so far and not able to continue. Is there any other way around this problem as i am not buying a newer Ipad as  i have no problem playing other games on it. I have tried reloading it etc but no joy cant we play it without the updates?
