I have reached level 1044 and have now found that the game keeps crashing. I have checked my Ipad mini's settings, ios is up todate, there is more than enough memory left, I've turned it on and off. I don't know what else to do. I don't want to uninstall as I will loose everything and it has taken a long time to get to this level. Reading other comments this is obviously a common problem. Are the people who operate/build this game going to do anything about this? Could you let people know please?

Some of the older phones and tablets can't run the game so this might be the issue.
I suggest you either play from a newer device or alternately play Candy Crush Saga on Facebook. If you install the Photon browser you should be able to run the Facebook version on your iPad. Check this link: https://www.lifewire.com/review-photon-flash-player-browser-ipad-1994246
