how come everyone has 35 tries and I only have 30?  Cannot get the 2 bombs together...it never drops down....please fix

Most likely the move count has been lowered, they sometimes do level tweaks depending on the data collected after release. I don't think colour bombs will just drop by the way, you might get some from mystery candies but you should also try to make them whenever possible.
