I doubt it was removed just like that, there must of been a reason for it. The most logical reason to me is that not enough people played it to justify it being kept in the game. Personally I'm hoping there making space for something else to get our teeth into, was never a big fan of Dreamworld. Once you get far in the saga, the levels are just as if not more challenging than in the dreamworld anyway.
