1st place in striped candy challenge, but no rewards?

Finished in first place in the striped candy challenge last night, but was very disappointed to see no rewards today.... This is the second time I have placed and not gotten the rewards for the challenge. I used just about every booster I had trying to get to 1st hoping the rewards would be good. Can you help?
