Why can't i play quests to unlock new episodes?

The icon that you normally tap to unlock new episodes is flat when I am offline, that is it can not be tapped to open a new window that offers choices to unlock episodes (gold, friends, etc.). So I can not play quests to unlock new levels. When I am online there is a button. However as we know, quests are not offered when online anyways so I am stuck waiting 72 hours every 2 days of gameplay. I have tried many combinations of things: disconnecting from Facebook, turning off WiFi, resetting my phone... Nothing worked.

No recent changes have been made.
However, tests are always up and running in order to improve our games. Therefor it can happen that you might have changed of test group.
If so, then this happened unnoticed and this isn´t a manual process. Most of our players will still experience the standard waiting time of 72 hours you refer to.
