Annoying mobile game feature was fixed, now is back again

In the mobile app if you're at a lower level than the latest one you passed the game pops you back up to the top every couple of minutes. I complained about this annoying behavior before. For a couple of days last week it was fixed! The game would pause for a second or two and then come back as it always had, but it wouldn't change your position on the board. Then I had to update to get new levels, and it's back to the old way again.
If this was a fix that got unfixed, please fix it again. If it was a bug that got fixed, please break it again. It was so much nicer to play for sugar drops without having to scroll back down to where I was all the time.

same thing here - I notice there is a little update wheel on the bottom right - sometimes it does that after every game and sometimes every two or three - but its very annoying when you scroll back for sugar drops. I wish they would put a search feature on so that you could just type in the level you want to go back to
