Lost Progress when connecting to Facebook for the first time.

I thought it would be a good idea to backup my Candy Crush Saga progress on Facebook since I have reached the higher levels (around 2400ish). But I lost all of my progress; going back to level 1. Will you please help me get my progress back?  Thanks so much!
