Once again my Kindle Fire Hd 8.9 is crashing before I can even play a game.

I go on Candy Crush Saga and it is slow as Christmas. I want to purchase some gold bars and click on the Candy Shop. It doesn't have the drop-down of the prices, and it is just spins and then the Kindle crashes. It has been doing this for days. I cannot EVEN get to the game to play one round.
