So today I have finally reached the last island, think in English Cake Island, what happens next?

After reaching Cake Island (the last island) today, I wonder what is going to happen next. Will I have tl defend me being on that island or can I just lime away there? 

For if I need the defend me staying there, I will not play from Thursday to Monday again. Simple as that, for I do not like the feeling of dropping back and having to fight for that the whole time, was difficult enough as it was.

Would appreciate some clarification :-). Thank you.
