Candy crush saga playing for sugar drops

i finished collecting 180 sugar drops but part way through, I did not get boosters. Instead I got a message saying I needed to be connected. I'm not having a problem from my end. To make matters more complicated, not only did I not receive my rewards, now the timer is not active to count down when I can play for sugar drops again. Please help.
