Why when I play on multiple devices I drop back on Dexter's Island if I don't finish high enough.

I play Candy Crush Saga on multiple devices but if I don't finish high enough on the leaderboard on Dexter's Island I drop back by an island on every device.  For instance the latest game finished yesterday and since then I have played on 3 different devices.  Each tim i've logged on i've been told I didn't finish high enough and get dropped back an island.  Because of this i've dropped eback 3 islands on 1 game.  This must happen with everyone and isn't fair to players.  Please can you fix this glitch and restore me to the level I should be at. Thanks.

You are better off dropping down because the competition isn't as fierce and you have a better chance of winning.
