Desktop Shortcut Icon

I have just re-loaded CCS on my new hard drive but am unable to create desktop shortcut icon with the CCS image - all I get is a text type image.  I am using Windows 10 with FCU - plenty of space etc.  If I drag and drop from start menu all I get is the text type picture .If I right click - there is no option for a desktop icon.  I can't find the path anywhere to use that method. Please help
