Candy Curhs Saga freezes at "Loading" stage.

I am a mac user. For the past couple of days Candy Crush saga has not been loading. Of late I have notices that it takes very long to load, but now it doesn't load at all. The page just freezes. Is there any known cause for it? Whats the solution? I am at something like 2950 level; not sure what's going wrong here.

Loading issues have been reported and they are trying to fix this.
