My game will not give me lives from my friends and only gives me a treat from Day 1 on the calendar

When I open the game the first time of the day, I get Treat 1 from the Treat Calendar.  I never get Treat 2!  I can play once, go back to my FB newsfeed, and open the game again to receive another Treat 1.  The game appears to be stuck.  Is there a way to update it?  Also, friends are sending me lives but I never receive them.

As regards the not getting lives. I am finding the same thing but on another game. I have just had to reaccept all permissions though. It seems since the last Facebook scandal they keep modifying permissions and its sending games wappy. Have a look at this link and it shows you how to check permissions.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my question. I went to both links, did what they suggested and still have the same issues! It doesn't matter what browser I use or if my cache is cleared or not. Guess I'm just going to have to play as it is now. Thanks again.
