why can i not send lives or ask for lives

Hi Ann, are you playing the game through Facebook or the Kingdom? With Facebook's recent changes it has affected the games and requesting lives. I posted this to my Facebook group this morning:
If you are having trouble sending/receiving lives for your games, it might be because of Facebook making all the changes. Click on the link below and look in the active and expired sections to see if any of your games are there. If they are, then click on “view and edit” to update them.
