Passed level 2489 on the first try, received a helmet from Space Dash - closed down the game.

I pass a level on the first try, I don't start the next game, I close out pf Candy Crush. Why am I consistently losing my Space Dash Helmet?? I'm grateful I haven't lost my boosters... but this is ridiculoous!!!
