I can’t complete level 504 as it only gives me 12 moves but all the help videos show 40 moves. Help!

I am finding it impossible to even get close to uncovering the fish in level 504 let alone complete the level. Why do the help videos show 40 moves for this level? I have the latest version and updates of the saga. Please advise.
