Connecting to Facebook cancelled

I wanted to post in support, but there is no option there to start a new topic..

Since a few weeks, the connection to Facebook from the Candy Crush Saga game on Windows 10 Mobile is lost. Only a popup appears: "connecting to Facebook cancelled".
I have tried several steps:
-Logging out on Facebook website and app
-Starting the game from Facebook.com on my laptop and tablet and sending lives from there.
-Tried several WiFi networks and cellular data.
-Restarted phone

I'm reluctant to reinstall the app, a friend of mine had to start from level 1 after doing that. And I'm on level 1215..
What can I do to get this resolved?

    Hi @Pim_van_Dongen , have you ever tried playing the game through the Kingdom instead of Facebook?  The latter has so many glitches that I stopped playing through Facebook many months ago.  I will only play through the Kingdom now.  

    The lives sending/receiving is a glitch that has been reported over a month ago.  So don't even bother trying to check for lives.  It's affecting non-King games too so, personally, I think it's a Facebook glitch which has been reported to them too.

    Whatever you do, do NOT uninstall any games from your mobile device until all other solutions failed because you will lose all boosters and lives since they are only saved to that device.

    Let's try some troubleshooting:

    On Windows 10 mobile, Go to Settings> System> Storage> This Device> Temporary files> tap Temporary files, then tap Remove files.

    It should be 1.139.0.

    Troubleshooting didn't work. Multiple King games are affected on multiple devices, I think an update is needed..
    Is it possible to sync with the kingdom and to facebook again later to see where my friends are?

    Yes you can sync the Kingdom and Facebook and then your progress should always be the same on both.

    Hi @jayney71 and @aleator, it's a glitch but I'm not sure that it's a King glitch right now.  This is what Facebook wrote to King.

    Response from Facebook: There was an issue that occurred that affected all web games. A fix is being released and functionality should be restored shortly. Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your prompt reaching out to us!

    Hi@Duane_Heetchler, you can't continue to play through Facebook until Facebook fixes the glitch.  You can only play through king.com or the Kingdom on a mobile device.  You can read more about the Kingdom here:

    I can't pay via the Kingdom either and no one has been able to help me do it. Any idea when Facebook will fix the glitch?
