How do Candy Bombs work?

Candy Bombs are one of the most challenging obstacles in Candy Crush Saga. This tricky colorful blocker spawns with a number inside. The bomb counter can be as high as 50 or as low as 1. Every time you make a move, the number will decrease by one number. Tic tac tic tac… Don’t let it explode! If the counter reaches 0, game over! You will have to start over again. Candy Bombs are a high priority goal in any level. Not paying attention to the bomb number can make you lose the game. Keep an eye on them!

Candy bombs can spawn with random counters from 50 to 1. Be careful with Mystery Candies. They might bring an undesired surprise. A Candy Bomb!

They can be combined with many other blockers. Making it a little bit harder to clear. Bombs trapped in marmalade, Liquorice locks or in sugar chests will still explode if the timer reaches 0. Try to free them to be able to clear the Candy Bomb as soon as you can. Remember that the counter will keep decreasing!

Candy Bombs can be destroyed as any other ordinary candy. Any normal combination will help you get rid of them. As well as any Special Candy’s effect that might reach them. Sweet combos are very helpful!

Strategies to clear Candy Bombs:

There are Delicious strategies that will help you remove them effectively. There is always a way! Try to keep Candy Bombs on an open board. It’s easy to combine one with a matching color. Avoid at all cost isolating them by mistake! The counter might go down to 0 before you can do anything to destroy it. Be careful!

Take advantage of them and get Divine high scores! Candy Bombs provide a lot of points when cleared. Try to play smart and use them in your favor. On timed levels. You have to play fast! Be aware of the Candy Bomb counters. Playing against the time might make you pay less attention on the decreasing number. Don’t forget to clear them as well!

Try to find a pattern and predict when and how will more Candy Bombs spawn. It’s important that you are prepared when they appear. Set a clear strategy and target them. Remember to clear them before reaching 0! Divine!
