Freezing on iPad

all of a sudden my game keeps crashing on my iPad. Never did this before. It's so annoying when you use boosters and are ready to win a level. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve used 11gb out of 16. It’s an older iPad and I use it everyday. I probably need an upgrade. It seems to be ok for everything else if not a little slow. I do see something different with it lately. I don’t like changing things but both my iPhone and iPad need to be upgraded. I have lots of boosters I don’t want to lose. I love this game! Thanks so much for your help.

@jeanninemac which iPad model do you have and which version of operating system do you have installed? Is this problem only with Candy Crush Saga?

Hi @jeanninemac, how much memory do you still have? I hope it's not your iPad. Do you have a lot of boosters for the game? I could suggest that you bring your iPad back to factory settings but you are going to lose whatever lives and boosters that you have. I've had to set my mobile devices back to factory settings in the past and the problem was gone. I don't know if doing this will resolve your problem but if nothing else works then you might have to give it a try. Before you do that though, are you playing the game through Facebook? If so, I would suggest that you uninstall the Facebook app and then reinstall it again to see if that solves it. Then I would go for the factory reset.

Thanks Elsa. I may have used the wrong word. Not freezing as much as crashing. I get a grey screen, then I go to a different app and then back again to my game. I'm hoping it's not my iPad. Thanks for your help.

Hi @jeanninemac, I haven't seen recent messages posted here regarding the game freezing on a mobile device. Are you clearing out the history daily? Do you have the latest IOS version updated? Do you have the latest version for the game?

Try this - clear out the history and then shut down your iPad. Wait about 10 seconds and then reopen it. Reopen the game and it should be working.
