buddy challenge rewards

so I finally get the buddy challenge done, (usually my buddy doesn't complete her side of the goal so it usually doesn't get done even when I "start helping my buddy".(and I've already changed buddies twice)...but I got it today...Yay right?  No...I got two hours of free fish...however the level I'm on doesn't allow fish so bye bye two hours of fish because I'm still on the level that doesn't let you use fish.  Maybe these "rewards" can be something that you can use not matter what level you are on or at least come with some free life time to use them because if you don't have lives, and you can't use what they give you--then it's not really a reward at all.
