Candy Crush Saga for Windows 10 won't load.
This morning trying to start the Windows 10 app resulted in only a black screen.
After many failed attempts, I thought to uninstall and reinstall.
The download page on Microsoft store says the app is installed despite removing it and offers the option to Play.
If I select that option, a message comes up saying (paraphrase) "Please wait. Updating application. The app will be ready to use briefly."
Any attempt to start the app results in this message, but it hangs at this point and no amount of waiting solves the problem.
What's going on?
How can I get this app working again? I don't know what to do. New levels are out today and I want to play them.

A related problem. I went to facebook gameroom to play but the levels released for gameroom are behind the windows 10 app. Gameroom doesn't recognize my progress and I don't want to replay levels I've already played (about 100) some of which were damn hard to clear.0

Problem solved: It didn't say to do so, but uninstall/reinstall required me to restart my computer. The levels that showed up \as new today on Facebook now show as unplayed in the in-app map, although i cleared them weeks ago. When the app synced with Facebook, it apparently lost that part of progress so there's a gap in the middle now. Annoying.0
