How to Play

• Qualifier Stage: Finish in the top 5 of your leaderboard to enter the Quarter Finals.
• Qualifier Wildcard Stage: Finish 1st in both rounds to enter the Quarter Finals.
• Quarter Finals: Finish in the top 3 of your leaderboard to enter the Semi Finals.
• Quarter Finals Wildcard Stage: Finish 1st in both rounds to enter the Semi Finals.
• Semi Finals: Finish in the top 3 of your leaderboard to enter the Final Stage.
• Semi Finals Wildcard Stage: Finish 1st in both rounds to enter the Final Stage.
• Final Stage: Finish 1st in your leaderboard to be a winner of the Tournament and win a share of the biggest gold bar prize.

Rules

Groups and Objective

For the Qualifier stage, players will be randomly put into groups of 10 players. The top 5 players in each group who match the most special candies will win in-game rewards and a place in the next tournament stage.

For the Quarter Final stage, players will be randomly put into groups of 20 players. The top 3 players in each group who match the most special candies will win in-game rewards and a place in the next tournament stage.

For the Semi Final stage, players will be randomly put into groups of 30 players. The top 3 players in each group who match the most special candies will win in-game rewards and a place in the next tournament stage.

For the Final Stage - Players will be evenly distributed across 10,000 Final Stage leaderboards. The top 1 player per leaderboard will be a winner and be rewarded with a grand prize and be crowned a Candy Crush Saga - Candy Cup 2022 Champion. Those who reach the top 3 but do not win, will also receive some in-game rewards.

Wild Card Stages are composed of two rounds. Players who have played in a Qualifying, Quarter Final or Semi Final stage but did not qualify for the next stage, will be placed in groups of 30. To progress to the next stage, you must finish in first place on your first round leaderboard, you will then progress to the second round leaderboard. Finishing top in this second round leaderboard will see you progress to the next stage of the contest.

Prize

For the Final Stage - Each player who places top of their leaderboard will receive 30 days’ of Party Boosters and be crowned a Candy Crush Saga - Candy Cup 2022 Champion. In order to claim their reward, winners will need to log into the game daily, between 11th October 2022 06.00am EDT and 10th November 5.30am EDT to claim all 30 Party Boosters. Unclaimed Party Boosters will be forfeited.

We reserve the right to change rewards delivery time due to unforeseen circumstances.

Be aware of:

Each group must have the requisite number of people. In order to be assigned to a group, it is important to be punctual. By entering the game as soon as possible once the event has started you will be more likely to be assigned to a group and can start playing earlier.

You can play offline, but your points will not increase until you log in. Once you get online again, any green trophy candies that have been matched while offline will get synced. It is recommended that you play online where possible so that your points can sync in the applicable timeframe per stage. If you go online to update your points outside of the schedule/time frame per stage, they will not count and you may not qualify for the next stage.
