Why is booster bot always active?

hi,
since the booster bot has been activated on my game, I have lost the desire to play. It’s not fun and way too easy. It’s just not fun when on the first move you clear the whole level because half the board is full of boosters to start with. Is there a date the event will end? If not, I’ll have to stop playing sorry
