Glitch in 4118

There is a glitch in level 4118 that cost me my winning streak.
In this level, there is a little candy cane maze that a cherry has to travel through, ostensibly with a target area at the end. At least that is what I see in every tutorial.
In mine, when the cherry got to the end of the maze, (with several moves to go) it went right back to the beginning of the maze, like it was a portal.
This glitch cost me a first try streak of a couple of boards, meaning I lost the robot and sugar drops.
Then, after watching a tutorial, I went back and played my last life, and the game crashed, costing me my entire robot and the one hour of boosters I had just purchased. Now I lose that money and those boosters because of coding problems.
In Soda Saga, if the game crashes, you get that life back. Why isn't that the case with original candy crush?
Can someone check this out please? I can't physically pass this board with this glitch, and I am a bit angry about losing that money and boosters.
