@firebombmarkus i noticed the new update of today. But it has not solved the problem. Just saying since the update did not provide info on what was improved.

I have the same problem. When destroying a "yellow surprise egg" it doesn't count as a yellow candy. I've tried on my Android. I've tried on my pc. Same thing. And what i dont get is that it said i failed long before all moves are gone, and with yellow candies on the board still... This is getting super annoying. And the support team of King told me to YouTube the level, HA! It doesn't matter! I feel like there's a bug. Because people in the videos are getting the "?" candies counted as their total yellow count.

Just clash 4 yellow candies and it will appear a striped yellow candy that you will have to clash with a multicolour candy (booster). Problem Will be solved 😉

Yeah me too I kinda lost interest in the game. Tried all boosters, techniques and versions. Oh well...

I managed to get past it using the old flash version. But something obviously seems broken with this level on mobile. All the walkthrough videos show the ? blocks interacting very very differently than they do now.

Também não consigo passar do nível 408. Fiz a atualização do jogo e não vai da mesma forma. Nos vídeos do youtube mostra que esse nível tem aqueles arco íris nos doces que fazem os doces mudar de cor mas no aplicativo do celular não está acontecendo isso. Estou quase desinstalando o jogo

I agree it is much harder to pass level 408 on the mobile. Anytime I am having trouble passing a level I try it on the different versions.

You are right about creating a yellow stripped candy and combining it with a color bomb. Awesome effect but hard to do. Great job!

The yellow surprise candies are "Mystery Candy" that is why when you hit them with a lollypop hammer you will not necessary get a yellow candy. You may even get a candy bomb, Mystery Candy can be good or bad. 

Do not give up. You will pass it. 🔨🍬🔨🍭
