Gold bars accidentally spent

At least four times now when failing a level I have spent gold bars simply because I accidentally double-tapped my screen, and another time when I mis-tapped after a free spin. I would not spend hard-earned gold bars on either; if I was one move away from clearing a board I would rather play the level over again.
I have already suggested adding an "Are you sure?" option in the ideas section. Is there any way to get my 50 or so gold bars back? It is quite frustrating to have gold bars wasted, especially on levels I am nowhere close to clearing, as usually happened.

We're very sorry for your problem. If you use the Gold bars it is non-refundable. However, your idea is very good and the King can accept it.

Seriously, there is nothing you CAN do or there is nothing you WILL do? Because it just happened again. I just lost ten gold bars accidentally continuing a level I was nowhere near clearing and promptly lost in five more moves. This is ridiculous.
