Help me, I lost over 1000 levels in candy crush and it's driving me out of my mind

I've been playing since the game started and I think I was up to level 1979, at least that's what I saw last.  my lucky spinning wheel wouldn't work and kept asking me to 
login.  I logged into facebook and my levels went back to 906.  i'm a 65 year old man who doesn't play a lot of online games but candy crush kept my mind working.  I've tried everything I could  find on the net to retrieve my levels but i'm about to give up and quit.  there is no way I can mentally get myself to work back over a thousand and 70 levels.  is there something I can do to get my levels back.   I never saved my games just played and then turned it off when done, I've never been logged onto facebook with my phone, only with my ipad.

We're very sorry for your problem. This error has occurred because you were unable to save your game properly. Turn the Internet on while playing the game, and sync each level via Facebook or the Kingdom. Your game was saved up to 906 levels and so you got them back. 
However, you should now contact us at Care. Don't worry, you'll be helped.

Fill all the boxes with tropic & sub- tropic, and wait for the answer from the customer care.
