Is level 4042 an ingredient level

Had 20 moves left & it said oops not enough ingredients but I wasn't given the notification when I entered the game that I shouldn't just collect all yellow candy?

Hi @nlennon and welcome to our adorable Community 😊 In this level you need to collect yellow candies. I will post some tips with the video so you can find the best approach.

I hope this will help you. If not, I strongly recommend taking a break for a day or two to clear your mind. It helped me numerous times to finish the level once I come back to the game. Good luck and keep crushing 🍭

More than once now, I have FALSELY been given a notice that "oops there are not enough candies to complete the order" and then the game stopped for me. There WERE enough on the board either uncovered or as lucky candies waiting to be uncovered so why am I getting an "oops" message and having the game end well before I use up my moves? Incredibly frustrating.

Are you getting an error message at the beginning of the level?

The game isn't loading for me right now on my computer so I can't screen shot but the message comes well into the game after perhaps half the yellow candies have been collected. The game abruptly stops and the error message appears. After the first couple of times, I began counting the remaining yellows/lucky candies that were left after each turn and there were always enough to complete the order. You begin the game with exactly the amount needed and you just need to collect them or convert the lucky candies and then collect.
