sugar drops not giving me any boosters when I pass the thresholds

This started last week. I pass the threshold levels of sugar drops, and it just goes to the next level without giving me any boosters.  I've gone through two full cycles of 60 with no boosters.  Anyone else having this problem?

I have noticed that it seems to wait until I have no lives left, then award a timed booster or two that I cannot use.
