I think it's a feature that most people have in the game and I feel like it's to make you more competitive? I know when I look at the race thing, I want to get the 5 gold bars nd come first. 

Other then that, I have no clue why they would want to have people race against each other.

Unhelpful advice, since the color bombs are off screen when the level starts. I'm at the velvet rope now, but this level took too many attempts and I'm sure it will frustrate many good players, as it depends on luck.

As I said, I don't mind challenging levels, just those that require a bunch of lucky cascades or a fistful of boosters. 5663 is a very hard level, but I'm not complaining about it.

As for King wanting to slow things down, then why do they also encourage fast play by pitting you against fictional players in a race for gold?
