Community Badges: current status and changes

I can confirm that I am missing the badges, "150 Comments", "200 Comments" and "5 Answers". I'll add a link to this thread in my signature to help spread the word.

Yes @frenioz00 I am also missing the 200 comments badge. And the 300 comments badge. Don’t know how you can earn the answer badge? How does this work?

Hey thanks for tagging me! I do not have the comment badges nor the answers badges. I do not know  what caused it, but this is unlikely, but I think that comments and new discussions are posted at a rapid rate that the system cannot manage how many comments you have posted.

Judging by the fact that the last earned people who got the broken badges was around July, no one has school and that means that people have lots of free time on their hands, this is when comment post rate speeds up rapidly, the system managing the posts broke and now people are not getting their badges.

I see that the 100 comments badge is working. Maybe not a lot of people were earning that badge

Hi @Yosca! I've been meaning to get back to you on this for days now, but it has been a hectic week.

Regarding your question: to earn any of the "Answer Badges" you have to provide an answer to a fellow Member who has a question. Follow this link: https://community.king.com/en/blog/categories/discover-the-community and to the right of your screen you'll see a tab that reads "Somebody Needs Help!". Click on that tab and you will see what questions are being asked. If you have the answer of any given question, just comment on the post created by the "asking" Member. If your answer is "Accepted" by the Member, you'll add 1 "Answer Point" towards your "Answer Badges" count.

@frenioz00 Thnx I had figured it out though. If I understand it correctly I should miss a lot of the answer badges 😅

Answers

Answers imply all responses under the Support sections of every game. And here's the trick not many know:

Answers give a lot of points!

• Every time you answer another player, you get 2 points. (Only your first answer to a question will award points)
• Every time a player selects your answer as the accepted answer you get 10 points!

And on top of that, there are badges connected to answers as well. If you want to make it to the top of our leaderboards (which you can view here), we recommend you visit the "Somebody needs help" section of your favourite game to help players out and get as many points as possible!
