I'm still having issues with lives given by friends. Today I had 6 and when I tried to use them I was only able to use 1

    That probably wasn't a problem, as there were 6 notifications in your envelope but not all are lives. There were 5 lives requests from your friends and 1 was live's. 
    Don't forget that you can always request plenty more lives at any time from your friends!
