Not receiving my gold bars

So yesterday I paid for the $7.99 50 gold bars package and the money came from my account yet I didn't receive it.  I waited probably 5 or 6 hours and thought maybe they had technical issues earlier I'll request a refund and do the $1.99 to see if it's fixed.  Again I still have not got my gold bars.  60 all together.  Google play denied my refund request for whatever reason so I basically just wasted basically $10 now I am scared to try again cause if it does it again I may get mad.  $10  is not much but for a single mom it adds up.  Not often I have extra money to play with.

    I have had the same experience.  It happens to me and is incredibly frustrating.  Sometimes I get to the end of a game and am really close to beating the level.  So I buy additional bars to continue.  I go thru the whole process, and at the end, the game closes on me.  Now I have lost the level, lost the life, lost my money, never received the bars and have to restart the game.  Doesn't happen every time, but it did this morning and I'm done with buying gold bars.  I am playing Candy Crush on an Amazon Kindle if that matters.  It's really, really frustrating, and I can't afford to keep losing money.
