Help required: Level 234

Does anyone have advice that will help me get sugar stars on level 234?
I would really appreciate.

It doesn't matter how hard or how many times I try, I can never get it over the line.
Either I get too many points at the start, the game finishes early and the shoal of fishes don't do enough, or I play carefully to keep the game alive, still not giving enough points. I have even tried so carefully that I failed, then spun for 15 extra moves. Still not enough! I seem to have a problem like this with many levels that end with the fishes and wonder if there is a knack, or something I'm missing?
