Wrong. Marketing costs will rocket to make up for the bad press and reviews. Income will go down as less people watch commercials. Except for server space and support, what are the costs that will go down by people not playing? Those who do pay are equally annoyed with these changes. They are already spending what they can afford, now it is just putting it out of their reach.
Very well said! Exactly what my attitude is! I feel a bit ashamed that I used to spend a couple of pounds a month (not regularly though). Not anymore! The incentive for playing has been taken away, so it's even pointless to open the app. What is Activiision by the way? Is it the studio's name? I don't have an idea!
I think everyone would be more willing to accept the removal of the features if they were only to state the real reasons.
Just "Space" isn't cutting it, when there's been nothing significant to fill it.
If it's because jon E krush has a level on his hard drive that will give him 180 sugar drops in one level, just say so.
If it's because it is easier to build the bot than intended, just say so and limit the levels that can be used, add more moves and starting boosters for all. Anything, but please give people half a chance of finishing levels 1000 - 6400 without having to empty their wallets.
King was acquired by Activision Blizzard in 2016. That year their projected revenue was 6.25 billion dollars.
They said at the time:
'We are excited about the future as we continue developing more exciting games and explore new ways to serve our players'
Well in the case of CCS they failed miserably on that count!
I don't understand why they're doubling down on these changes in hopes of increasing revenue from paying players. At this point, is it not better to continue to get as much revenue from advertisments rather than drive both free and paying players away? Strange business model.
Feedback.
Really like the bubblegum
Don't mind that the bot can only be made from new levels, as I like that past levels don't take form the bot too. Rewards have changed slightly - its a bit naff that the first is a solo stripe.
The booster wheel that used to occasionally pop up to win a chance to continue ad the end of a game, seems to have disappeared :-(
The skull/raincloud doesn't seem to mean much past level 6000.
Really like the blue stars, although achieving master titles on some episodes is impossible.
Great game.
