How do you beat 6659? There are not enough keys to unlock things, and no way to get keys.

Why the studio do not want to fix the blocker issue and only redesign levels?

When the sugar chest(s) under the crystal, the sugar chest cannot be unlocked. (If the sugar chest is only left one layer, it cannot unlock.
After getting the keys, two-layers can change to one-layer but one-layer cannot remove the chest because of this glitch.
That is my conclusion.😊
I estimate, at least need to use 18 hammers to clear all the sugar chest with crystal part.
