Another player has the same issue (link); perhaps it's a glitch, but there hasn't been a response yet.

Might be better to wait on a resolution, because to play it as it is might be a lesson in futility...

Passed this level with no glitches to what i can remember, but had this aon many levels on king games, Normally get a couple of times were it does this on certain levels but eventually after a couple of tries you get playable boards. Just seems like a random thing that happens on certain games/ levels
