I'm still trying to figure out what sugar stars are and the benefits of them.

I can understand the confusion! It was the same for me till I kind of understood the concept (I can say not completely though)! But, I can try to explain as much as I can 🙂

You know, in the game, there are some levels that we achieve very high points but still at the 3rd star on a level? So, I guess the Candy Team sent in this "Sugar Stars" feature for us to show off those levels we gained the best score than the needed one!

Did this make sense?

And also, if you have noticed, there are trophies in the game now! If you receive Sugar Stars in an episode (not sure how many levels -- whether it is all 15 levels or some of it), we will receive a Diamond Trophy and you can see that at the end of that episode!

Would you need any more info about this? I can try to find out and inform you!

Not really any benefit to them just looks good when you have finished levels. Not had any features myself that would use them.
