Why does my build-a-bot only have 3 parts? It used to have 5.

Why does my build-a-bot only have 3 parts? It used to have 5.

Also, if I get to the max why does it go back down to nothing if I fail one level.

Are these some of the new features of build-a-bot or is it broken?
