How to thank a friend who had gifted a life?

When I am no more with lives while playing so when I ask for a life , some unknown players give me their life. How to thank them .?

You can't do that. You can only add friends on the PC that you can send yourself back and forth. It's like a thank you.

@madbat it depends on the case, I think. It happened to me too that I received a life from someone with no avatar and no name. Idk why, maybe it's someone from the pc web version. It's impossible to track that person on my list of randomly given friends. Sometimes some "Player" that gives me help shows an avatar and a specific color of frame and with some effort I'm able to track it down on the scoreboard and click on the enveloped pink heart to thank her/him in return with a life. It would be ideal if all the players had a nickname but oh well...
