My all time favourite is cipaille or cipâte in French, there’s different ways of saying it and making it. Some only put meat but I like it with meat & potatoes. It’s usually made with pork, beef and deer but you can add different kinds of meat, had one once with 6 different kinds of meat 😋
Well I'd say cotoletta (cutlet in english? Idk) which is chicken breast covered by a mixture of egg, bread, parmesan, nutmeg and then fried. Easy peasy. The homemade result is pretty good.
I wouldn't say it's healthiest dish evah but it's not like I get to eat it often LOL
Thanks again for making mouth water...lol. OMG you guys, tomato sandwiches 🍅 with s&p and gobs of Hellman's mayo on white bread or toast. Really only enjoy a few months out of the year though when they are in season and local, hate hard and tough tomatoes, cause they should be sliced thick.... yummy. Not Mom's cooking just one of Natures delight 🤗
Mom's cooking, best was Fried Chicken w/ corn on the cob🌽 and homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, also homemade.
Close second was, Spaghetti, sauce made from tomato puree, lg. meatballs baked in oven first,& Italian sausage, topped with freshly grated Parmesan/ Piccalo Romano, with sauteed Mushrooms 🍄in butter, garlic salt and Tarragon and Garlic 🥖bread on the side.
There's more cause it was all good and she taught me to be a pretty good cook, my only regret is she never baked 🎂🥧 and it's the one thing I'm not that good at. ☹️ You succeeded in making me hungry again... going right now to make a grilled cheese...
