The Game Studios are constantly working on improving our games by introducing new features, gameplay or concepts. They closely monitor a game's difficulty, listen to player feedback about levels or features and may tweak things to enhance the player experience. Before any change is implemented a randomly chosen group of players is selected to trial the feature, and based upon how the change is viewed king then decide whether the change is one they want to adopt or not. This feature has been rolled out to different players for a certain amount of time but not everyone will receive this.
I can still listen to old music on each of my devices.☺️
Hi there, thanks for your input and I'm sure our creative team will take your opinion into consideration.
I personally disable all sounds and music in the game so I can concentrate and focus. 😊🍭
You can try to disable music in your game and if you like music in the background whilst playing game, why not play your favourite playlist? 😉
To be perfectly fair, I also highly prefer the old music. And why change it for everyone? The sound effects too? That completely lacks the nostalgia I have for this childhood game… and why are the ingredients now dragons?
think we should simply have a toggle… The toggle would be New vs Legacy. New would use the new features, legacy uses the old features. You can even add advanced options to experience a mixture of aesthetic. Because, as you can see, this method appeals to both long-time players who love the nostalgia and new players who like the fresh feel.
Turn off my music? No thanks, I always play with music when possible! I know it’s not always as straightforward as ‘making it happen’, but the retention would be SO much better if they could appeal to EVERYONE! It’s not like it’s super easy to program, as nothing is super easy to program… but I love the games that allow this.
For example, Vampire Survivors allows to toggle, say… Enhanced SFX. This swaps between chiptune and HD audio samples for stuff like the chest themes. I love the feature to choose, and I think it would be awesome if more games followed a more flexible user experience.
