I have had way over 1000 kitties. Growing up we'd have between 25-50 cats at a time. We'd have like 23 cats, then a bunch of them would have kittens and we'd be up to 47 of the critters. We'd find homes for them and then be at like 27 cats. Then some strays would show up at the farm and we'd be at 31. Then a bunch more kittens and we'd number 52. Give a bunch to new homes and the numbers would be about 20. Some more strays would show up( I wonder if my parents ever knew I brought the stray and unwanted kitties and then " discovered" the new "strays"?) I could never look away from a cat in need. It sure helped things having a vet for a grandfather.

@rebelchild I love that you cared for so many cats growing up. I’m sure they all appreciate it. Right now I have 6 cats in my house and a colony of strays (about 10 cats) outside that I feed and give shelters too when they need it. 💕🤗
Thank you for helping so many cats in your lifetime. I can’t turn a stray away either. 💕🤗
